Job Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional/Caregiver to provide 24-hour care for my son, who has developmental disabilities, autism, and epilepsy. This role is funded through Medicaid and offers flexible hours ranging from 24 to 40 hours per week, depending on your availability.Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, brushing teeth, and toileting.
Prepare meals, wash dishes, and maintain a clean living environment.
Handle laundry and other household chores.
Encourage and support the client in developing independent living skills.
Administer medication and accompany the client to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, and various outings.
All Training will be provided.Qualifications:
Must be a team player who works well with others.
Honest and able to follow directions and rules.
Capable of working under the guidance of a team leader and attending monthly team meetings.
Must pass a background check with no felonies.
