Shift: This role is 1st Shift, 5:30 AM-6:00 AMHourly Rate: $23.00 an hourWe are hiring for a Facility Maintenance Technician to help maintain the facility that produces our delicious Duke's Meat Snacks products at our Macomb, MI manufacturing facility. You will report to a Maintenance Manager and join a team of about 60.Shift: This role may work a variable 8-hour shift between the hours of 530am-6pm Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays based on production needs.You will work mandatory overtime and weekendsLocation: 23 Mile Rd & HayesHourly Rate: $23.00You Will:
Ensure our plant facilities/utilities systems are maintained operational, identify repairs, and maintain plant operational equipment
Order parts/supplies
Maintain Maintenance and Warehouse inventory
Operate a forklift and help load/unload trucks
Support the Warehouse team
Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including receiving parts and materials
Perform specialized maintenance projects throughout our facility
Assist Maintenance Techs and Administrative staff as assigned
Maintain and complete scheduled PMs
Complete general facility maintenance
Address safety concerns/risks proactively
Oversee contractors working on-site, ensuring compliance with our policies while maintaining positive working relationships
Act as a backup for shipping/receiving
You Have:
Working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Word, Outlook email
The ability to drive a forklift
A desire to increase mechanical/electrical knowledge by working side-by-side with Maintenance Technicians for additional support
3 years Maintenance experience
3 years Forklift experience
