Job DescriptionThis position participates in the day-to-day work activities of the unit with regard to the operations of Mackinac State Historic Parks (MSHP) administered facilities. This position works as part of the MSHP park operations management unit with specific responsibility for maintenance and park operation functions of Colonial Michilimackinac, Historic Mill Creek Discovery Park, the mainland administrative offices, two Visitor Centers, a lighthouse, a fog signal station, shipwreck museum building, multiple restroom facilities, various other park buildings, over 6 ½ miles of roads and 650 acres of grounds. The employee shall perform various types of operational and maintenance duties consistent with the operation of MSHP administered facilities. This position will train and provide guidance to staff, maintain grounds, infrastructure, and equipment, and perform other duties as assigned.
