Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a skilled and experienced Fine Grade Excavator to join our team. As a Fine Grade Excavator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to perform various excavation tasks, specifically with water passageways (mostly rives/streams). This is a crucial role in our client's construction projects, ensuring precise and accurate grading for optimal results. Work will be performed throughout the East Coast from Maryland all the way down to Texas, with Raleigh, North Carolina being the organizations hub (where you'll be expected to live).Duties:
Operate heavy equipment, including backhoes, loaders, and water trucks
Perform fine grading tasks to prepare sites for construction
Dig trenches, level surfaces, and remove debris
Bulldoze and compact earth to create a stable foundation
Assist with horizontal drilling operations
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Prepare to frequently be on the road (during the week) with the team throughout the Eastern seaboard from Maryland down to Texas

Proven experience in operating heavy equipment, specifically in fine grading
2+ years of experience within fine grading and GPS
Proficient in backhoe operation and tanker operations
Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques
Commercial driving experience is preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
Ability to work effectively in a team environment null
