Our client, a vibrant private club, is seeking a Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the culinary team supporting the dining experience for members and employees. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: CookLocation: Big Bay, MIPay Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experienceShift: Seasonal job, approx. April 22 - October 28. Schedule - weekends necessary, Sunday/Monday 1PM-9PM & Friday/Saturday 6AM-2PM, 5th day is optional and open to preferenceWhat's the Job?

Prepare food utilizing various culinary techniques for members and employees at a private club.

Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen, ensuring all surfaces and equipment are properly sanitized.

Ensure food safety, including proper temperatures and food storage practices.

Communicate and collaborate with servers and other kitchen staff in a polite and professional manner.

Create a diverse and nutritious menu that meets the traditions and dietary needs of members.

What's Needed?

Previous experience in food service preferred.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Knowledge of food safety regulations.

Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor.
