Job DescriptionThis position serves as the Quality Program Specialist for all major projects including, but not limited to, the Gordie Howe International Bridge (GHIB), I-375, I-94, etc. These projects have statewide significance and require coordination across region, division, bureau, department, and agency lines, including, but not limited to, Canadian officials, Windsor Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA), Bridging North America (BNA), the city of Detroit, local communities, special interest groups, major businesses, and regulatory agencies. Extensive coordination with other major projects is also required. All major projects are different and may not require coordination with these same entities.As the department’s Quality Program Specialist, this position develops, reviews, and approves policies and procedures that ensure compliance with State and Federal Aide Eligibility Requirements (FAER).
