Job DescriptionThis position serves as the management assistant to the Forensic Science Division, Lab Operations Section. This position serves as liaison to section, office management, and section staff while being responsible for updating and explaining procedures and policies for the section for the review and interpretation of section documents, and the review and preparation of materials for training, section meetings, and management decisions. This position composes and processes correspondence, maintains schedules, creates/updates forms, spreadsheets, and databases. Additional duties include the scheduling and coordination of meetings for the managers and staff and preparing minutes from those meetings. Compiles confidential records. Provides information to law enforcement personnel and department members concerning section responsibilities. Performs section financial responsibilities.
