SECONDARY MARKETING TRADERWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?Responsible for Secondary Marketing functions related to hedging, loan transactions, pricing, risk management and financial analysis. This team member will also be pivotal in helping to draft applicable procedures and controls related to hedging and trading. This person needs to be able to take direction from all levels of Bank management, including Finance, Treasury, Credit, Legal, Risk, among others. Motivated leader that will drive key initiatives and department strategy independently.What you will do

Works closely with other traders, and risk managers to centralize assumptions with respect to pricing, trading, and hedging considerations for alignment to Secondary's policies, processes and procedures.

Manage Asset Liability Management presentations.

Helps develop position and trading strategies with teammates and manager.

Makes additions and edits to procedural documents and process work flows with Secondary Marketing group

Contributes explanations and rationale for position reports, limits and any material fair value changes

Investor relationships are a heavy focus on the trade desk; this person will add to our investor base, as well as strengthening relationships with existing partners.

Organization of requests and dialogue with both 1LOD and 2LOD partners throughout the Bank related to policies, procedures, standards and support.

Coordinates technology improvements, either internal or external, specific to trading, hedging and risk management functions.

Must-Have

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

7-10 years broad based residential mortgage and project management processes. Including but not limited to working with Capital Markets partners to further imperative initiatives. Trading principles, fair value, product guidelines and knowledge of Secondary Marketing risk metrics.

Skills and Knowledge

Residential Mortgage within an OCC/FDIC/Federal Reserve/CFPB US Bank.

Experience at Banking Enterprises and Management reporting, Consulting efficiencies and leadership roles.

Financial Analysis

Risk control and internal audit

Financial Instruments, Derivatives

Cash Flow Modeling

CompensationStarting base salary: $127,626 - $237,014 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
