WestRock in Lansing, MI is looking for a Laminator Helper- 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm). This position starts off at $18/hour and offers a $2/hour shift differential! HIRING IMMEDIATELY.GENERAL PURPOSE: Set up, operate and maintain the Emmeci laminating Machine. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Sets-up, operates and maintains laminator.
Packages and labels finished product.
Documents jobs and activities.
Ensures quality during the lamination process.
Measures critical characteristics for statistical process control.
Uses computer for scheduling label generation etc.
Operates a pallet jack to move raw materials and finished product.
Performs other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.).
Must have the ability to read and write complex instructions, correspondence and memos.
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Must have strong mathematical skills.
Must be proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, and other Outlook products.
Must be able to maintain good attendance.
Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
