Job DescriptionThis position serves as the Education and Training Coordinator in the Regulatory Effectiveness Office (REO) for the department providing education and consultation services to licensees in a wide range of fields throughout the department ranging from skilled trades to occupational and health care professions to help implement LARA’s strategic goal of improving compliance through education and consultation. This position facilitates and creates programs and materials that educate licensees throughout the department’s numerous statutory and administrative rule requirements for their respective field. This position also facilitates and creates programs that educate members of the public on important requirements and rules to be aware of when working with licensed professionals as well as the appropriate steps to take if they believe a licensee is violating an applicable statute or rule.This position will recommend, facilitate, and coordinate various training opportunities for LARA staff members ranging from investigators, consultants, and inspectors to ensure staff are following best practices and appropriately engaging with members of the licensed community.
