The selected candidate is expected to work a minimum of the first two weeks in the office to assist in learning the position.This position is responsible for website content management, department branding, and graphic design for the Public Information Office. The position posts and edits content to the department’s website and intranet (SiteCore and SharePoint) and acts as the primary department administrator for both sites, assisting all MDOC offices with web content and updates or migrations. This position troubleshoots, supports, advises, and provides technical support to users in their day-to-day use of the department’s digital communications tools, including being the department administrator for all GovDelivery listservs. This position uses graphic design on a variety of assignments to improve web pages, to support social media content, fact sheets, event flyers, reports, infographics, charts, and tables. This position is responsible for developing and managing department wide branding including, but not limited to, logos, slide decks, email banners, brochures, and more.
