District Sales Executive role at Expeditors.The District Sales Executive is responsible for ensuring that new customer revenue is consistently secured for our district office and Expeditors network. The job environment is constantly changing, and provides growth opportunity, recognition and reward for the achievement of business results. This position reports to the District Sales Manager.Key DeliverablesThese are the minimum results expected from a successful District Sales Executive:Achieve district / company revenue and sales objectives per company established expectationsDrive sales growth through the generation of leads acquired by cold calling, networking and referralsProspecting, planning and conducting face to face visits with potential customersIdentify issues and work cross functionally to determine and implement a customer specific solution based on their supply chainBuild and cultivate customer / branch relationships and collaborate with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resourcesSupport the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork. When needed, support AR (accounts receivable) collection.Be disciplined in managing and updating the CRM system to ensure active pipelineAttend training & development sessions to continue developing selling skills and updating Expeditors Product and Service knowledgeInvolvement in local trade groups, as directed by the District Sales Manager
