Small trucking company with diesel repair facility located between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo; seeking a full-time diesel truck mechanic. We have a full-service commercial truck repair facility and handle all types of truck repairs for our own fleet of 12 trucks.
Candidate can expect to work a minimum of 40 hours per week; with the possibility of after-hours and/or weekend work.
Must have a minimum of 5 years verifiable experience.
Must have a Class A CDL truck license.
Must have experience & knowledge of all makes and models of trucks & engines years 1999-2024.
Must carry ALL your Certificates.
Must have welding experience & certificates.
Must have road side repair experience.
Must have a positive work ethic and work attitude.
Must have own reliable transportation to and from work.
Pay is based on experience.
Review after 90 days. Paid vacation, medical, dental, vision.
The position is hourly with overtime pay after 40 hours.
Candidate must speak English, provide their own tools, be self-sufficient and a team-player.
