Description We are seeking a meticulous Collections Specialist to join our team in the Credit Agencies industry, located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. You will be instrumental in managing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate records, and taking necessary action for delinquent payments. This role offers an opportunity to transition from a contract to permanent position.Responsibilities: Efficiently process and manage customer credit applications Maintain precise records of customer credit details Resolve customer inquiries related to credit Monitor customer credit accounts regularly Take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments Utilize accounting software to track and update account information Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies Contact customers to secure payment on overdue accounts Negotiate payment plans with customers based on their financial situations Maintain accurate records of all collection activities Requirements Minimum of one-year experience in a similar role. Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Understanding of Billing Functions and Collection Processes. Ability to Collect Outstanding payments. Knowledge of Utility Billing. Spanish Translation skills are desirable. Experience in Call Center Customer Service. Demonstrable ability to provide Superior Customer Service.
