Tyson Foods Refrigeration Maintenance Technician FULL-TIME $26.54/hr, plus $5000 new hire bonus 8300 96th Ave, Zeeland, MI 49464 - Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team. - Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment. - Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed. - Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. - Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment. - Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals. - Minimize downtime due to equipment failure. Schedule - Shift start: 5:00AM or 5:00PM - Shift length: 12 hours - Days: Rotating 2-2-3 schedule. Work week starts on Tuesday. One week work schdule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday. The following week's schdule is Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday. We follow a 2 week rotation. Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience OR 1 year of industrial maintenance experience education (e.g., possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience. - Applicants will be considered for Associate Refrigeration Technicians, General Refrigeration Technicians, and Sr Refrigeration Technicians level openings. - Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation.
