Thank you for your interest in Blue Star RV! We specialize in RV sales/service for used and new Toy Haulers, Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, Motorhomes etc. We are seeking a skilled RV Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining RVs of various makes and models. Must be a team player and willing to work in a fast pace environment. The RV Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, identifying mechanical issues, and implementing appropriate solutions to the advisor. The candidate should have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch service to our customers. Starting pay is $20 per hour and up based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on RVs
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
Inspect RVs to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades
Test drive RVs to verify repairs and ensure proper functionality
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance procedures
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as an RV Mechanic or similar role
Strong knowledge of RV systems and components
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license
