Job Title :Senior Controls Engineer

Location : 13521 Quality Drive, Holland Michigan 49424

ContractDescription:Roll will be based in Holland, MI through June 2025 with install and production support lasting through December 2025 in Locust Grove, Georgia.Travel Schedule will be 2 weeks in GA and a weekend home.40-55hrs per week work schedule first 6mo then will increase to 60-65hrs until install then 65-70hrs working in GA.Must have d and Fanuc Robot experience. FactoryTalk View Experience. FTView SE is a plus.  Must have high communication skills and ability to keep customer and project team updated on issues. Tracking and owning of open issues. 

Must have strong ownership and ability to see tasks through completion. 

Ability to work with a large team and teach/transfer knowledge to other team members.Develops and designs the controls software packages utilizing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and/or Human/Machine Interfaces (HMI)Develops operation manuals that detail the functionality and set-up of the equipment being designedExamines and understands customer-supplied specifications in order to ensure the functionality of the equipment meets these specificationsEnsures the equipment being started up and commissioned operates in accordance with the customer requirements as outlined in the approved specificationPrograms robotic and/or controls equipment per the customer specificationsPerforms preventative maintenance as requested by the customer to ensure minimum down-time and optimum operation of machines and equipmentAssists with checking design and details for proper functionality of both his/her work and the work of other engineersProvides timely, required service documentation relating to all functions performedProvides technical support and training to the end-user at the customer facilityEnsures products and services continue to be the benchmark within the industryDemonstrates a commitment to Core BeliefsDemonstrates a commitment to safe work practices while on Client or the customer’s premises.Other duties as assignedIntermediate understanding of electrical circuits, electrical panel design, pneumatic design, hydraulic design, PLC's (Programmable Logic Controller), HMI's (Human Machine Interface), robot programming, VFD's (Variable Frequency Drive), servo application's, and device communication networks (DNET, ENET, and Profibus)Ability to demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem solving skillsIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, as well as Google Applications (such as Gmail, Calendar and Docs)Ability to work onsite within the offices or at customer locations as requiredAbility to meet deadlines without endangering the safety of himself/herself or others, or the integrity of the equipmentAbility to interact professionally with customers, and maintain a positive working relationship, which at times may be under difficult circumstances and/or high-pressure situations
