Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Leader to join our team based in Holland, Michigan. This role is deeply rooted in the food manufacturing industry and revolves around overseeing the daily operations of the quality control team, ensuring the safety and quality of all products. Responsibilities: Oversee daily functions of the quality control team to ensure product safety and adherence to quality standards. Conduct routine quality audits and inspections to confirm the accurate execution of procedures. Provide training and coaching to quality control team members on standards and procedures. Implement and update quality control policies and procedures. Verify the quality of raw materials and finished products. Maintain the correct calibration of all testing and measuring equipment as per standards. Identify areas of quality non-conformance and collaborate with relevant teams to address these. Maintain strong relationships with local, state, and federal regulatory bodies to ensure operations are in compliance with food safety and health standards. Organize, document, and maintain all quality control records and test results. Liaise with production and operation teams to rectify any identified quality issues. Requirements Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning and Epicor software Extensive knowledge of ISO Quality Standards Proven experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control Demonstrated skills in Quality Management Ability to provide leadership and direction to Quality Control teams Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure quality standards are met Ability to analyze data and reports to identify areas for improvement Proficient in using QA/QC software tools and applications Willingness to stay updated on the latest industry standards and best practices Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
