Job Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionOur contractor will be handling both emergency work and preventative maintenance as needed. This position is on 2nd shift, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break. The role includes about an hour of overtime daily and requires working every other Saturday. The primary responsibility on 2nd shift is to keep production running smoothly, often implementing temporary fixes until more comprehensive repairs can be made during 3rd shift.Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned plant equipment, including service, repair, or replacement of gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, etc.
Ensure the mechanical and physical integrity of the production equipment.
Reduce production downtime due to mechanical failure.
Complete preventative maintenance measures in a timely manner.
Assist Mechanics with machine repair and equipment troubleshooting.
Support 1st shift production departments with timely setup.
Properly and safely use maintenance shop equipment such as drill press, lathe, and pneumatic tools.
Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform bending, twisting, and standing tasks.

The facility is very clean and well air-conditioned, meeting all FDA requirements. The environment is temperature-controlled at 55 degrees, with coolers at 35 degrees and freezers ranging from 0 to -10 degrees. Standard steel-toed boots with some liquid resistance are required. The team environment is highly collaborative, with employees always looking out for one another and helping where needed.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of HOLLAND, Michigan.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $67600.00Retirement Program Benefits 401(k) Plan: Immediate participation. Request member may save the IRS maximum of their weekly earnings. Request Foods will contribute $1.00 for every $1.00 you elect to have contributed to the plan up to 4% of your base compensation.
