Receiving – unloading trucks, verifying condition and count of items received. Storing and Rotating – putting product away in designated areas such that old stock is available before any new stock is used. Inventory Control – helping to maintain an accurate count for the quantities of product on hand. Keeping Distribution/RAW Receiving areas in a clean and safe condition. Other duties as assigned.Job Description:
Previous Semi-truck driving and trailer moving experience.
CDL driver qualifications preferred but not necessary.
Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and inside the plant, in cold, damp environment.
Must be proficient in the safe operation of a forklift.
Must be able to read and understand English (bi-lingual preferred), as well as, perform mathematical calculations: add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Must have strong desire to accept responsibility, show initiative and be a team player. Must be able to work cooperatively with other workers throughout the plant.
Must be able to communicate with Management, Supervision and Leads. Knowledge of products and receiving procedures is a plus.
Responsible for following GMP’s, SOP’s, HACCP procedures, Quality Plan work instructions, plant rules and policies.
