Description We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Director to lead our technology initiatives in a fast-paced and innovative tool and die manufacturing stamping company. As the IT Director, you will be responsible for managing a team of three IT professionals across three locations(Holland, Canton and Mexico), ensuring the seamless operation of technology systems, robust cybersecurity measures, and efficient utilization of the PLEX ERP system.Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals across three locations. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide guidance and support for professional development.

Technology Management:

Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of all technology systems. Collaborate with department heads to understand technology needs and align solutions with business goals. Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to recommend strategic improvements.

Security Oversight:

Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity policies and procedures. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments. Implement measures to safeguard company data and intellectual property.

PLEX ERP System Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for the PLEX ERP system. Ensure the system is effectively utilized across all departments. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements.

Budgeting and Resource Planning:

Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions. Collaborate with leadership to plan for future technology investments. Optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.

Vendor Management:

Collaborate with external vendors to procure necessary hardware, software, and services. Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to ensure value for the organization.

Troubleshooting and Support:

Provide high-level support for complex IT issues. Develop and implement procedures for timely issue resolution. Work closely with the helpdesk team to address user concerns.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) in IT leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of ERP systems (they use PLEX) and their integration within manufacturing processes. Excellent understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices. Solid project management and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
