Amentum is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Facilities Program Manager in support of the Joint Program Office Joint Light Tactical Vehicle, Program Executive Office (PEO) Combat Support and Combat Service Support (CS&CSS). This position will provide facilities program management, event management, and support other operations duties as needed. The position will be on-site in Monday through Friday. This arrangement could change based on the requirements of the government client. Travel is not required. Other duties may be assigned to support client and contract deliverables.This position is not yet funded, position contingent upon funding awardJob Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, arrange, and manage the design of facility projects which may include obtaining preliminary cost estimates, providing detailed project schedules, coordinating project requirements (performance work statements or scopes of work) with SMEs and external organizations (i.e. SANG Civil Engineering and TACOM Department of Works), and provide schedule updates throughout the life of each project.

Develop and manage cost, schedule, and performance related to facilities management projects.

Research facility issues, submit work orders, and coordinate with TACOM Garrison liaisons, 127th Civil Engineering and JLTV Leadership to review potential solutions and ensure the most efficient, effective, and affordable actions are taken to address facility needs.

Issue building access cards, and keys to approved users while maintaining and managing key inventories and building access equipment.

Provide periodic facilities support, i.e. change light bulbs, change filters, move office furniture and supplies, rearrange supply areas, and similar. This type of work is about 5% of the overall duties.

Review work orders and address any discrepancies through coordination with billing agencies.

Prepare annual budgets for facility improvement and event support, review quotes, and provide recommended courses of action.

Track and report the status of work orders and facility requests from start to finish.

Create and manages support plans, schedules, staging and storage of the JLTV fleet for events.

Create and manages risk management plans for associated events.

Including driving military vehicles to and from staging and event locations.

Manage, update, and document processes and procedures of the duties assigned.

Execute all regular transaction processes necessary to maintain operations, records, and databases for the Product team regarding facilities and event management.

Organize and facilitate organizational events, to include facility and event management (coordinate event support and capture responsibilities in letters of instructions).

Other operations duties may include:

Coordinate and organize a wide variety of acquisition related meetings (including calendar management).

Manage and coordinate internal and external program requirements (taskers) across the product office, higher headquarters, and external organizations.

Coordinate and staff documents, to include Milestone and Material Release documents.

Provide other operations and administrative support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of military, operations, or project management experience OR; Master’s degree with 3+ years of military, operations, or project management experience OR; in lieu of degree, 10+ years of military, operations or project management experience.

Secret clearance not required for initial hire, but candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance. Please note, US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. Amentum will sponsor a SECRET security clearance, a positive adjudication/determination may be required for continued employment.

Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license and have the ability to obtain a government issued tactical vehicle operator’s license.

Ability to talk and interact with people proactively.

Not afraid to talk to customers and suppliers.

Critical thinker.

Corrective actions training and/or understanding.

Project Management (PM) awareness.

Able to move fast and adjust quickly.

Able to multitask.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors’ degree and 10+ years of experience with military, operations, or government related duties.

Understanding and familiarity with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.

Previous experience with U.S. military tactical vehicles.

Previous experience with logistics planning, coordination and execution.

Previous facility management experience.

2+ years of experience with military or government related duties.

2+ years familiarity with Project/Program Management, preferably in a Government Acquisition program.

Previous experience working in PEO CS&CSS or PEO Ground Combat Systems (GCS).

Previous experience working with or in support of the 127th Wing aboard Selfridge Air National Guard Base.

Previous Department of Public Works related experience.

Active Secret Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Government Clearance.

Physical and/or Other Requirements

Requires the ability to regularly lift up 50 lbs.

Requires the ability to stand for an extended period of time.

Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.

Requires the ability to move objects (i.e. office furniture) on a regular basis.
