Velox Trucking is now hiring a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Local Driver based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Position Overview:
This is a full-time drop and hook position focused on local trailer pickups and deliveries within Michigan. You’ll be supporting our dispatch team by moving trailers between customer sites and our yard.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Home Daily
Primary Responsibilities:
Pick up loaded and empty trailers from customers and bring them back to our yard
Drop trailers at customer locations as scheduled by dispatch
Perform routine safety inspections on all equipment before and after use
Report any damages or safety concerns immediately
Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch
Requirements:
Must have a valid Class A CDL
Must be located in Grand Rapids, MI
Clean MVR and good safety record
Prior experience with local or regional driving preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
