Radio Technician
Onepath is hiring for an exciting new opportunity in the Grand Rapids, MI area, providing a high-quality customer service experience for a global brand deploying security alarm cellular communications upgrade solutions!
The Radio Installation Technician will work both inside and outside the home and is responsible for the upgrade and verification of functionality of the new cellular communicator. This individual should be customer focused and committed to ensuring the highest degree of end-user satisfaction, as well as being well versed in the fundamentals of alarm system functionality.
Job Requirements:
· Must possess a strong commitment to customer service and an enthusiastic demeanor
· Prefer at least 1-year alarm installation experience
· Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate
· Must be able to work flexible hours with the understanding that workdays can be In excess of normal hours and some weekend and holiday work may be required
· Must have a valid Driver’s license
· Must be able to pass a criminal and DMV background check
Key Competencies:
· Installation and service experience with home security systems
· Clear and professional communication skills · Educating customer about new installed devices
· Verification of service
· Understand low voltage cabling
· Working knowledge of tools used in alarm industries
· Inventory management and accuracy
