The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the direct management and handling of all warehousing and distribution functions at Advance Caster and Wheel Company’s warehouse facilities. This includes accountability for inbound and outbound freight, as well as, adherence to legislative, safety, and organizational policies and procedures. The Warehouse Associate will accomplish effective logistical oversight through strong leadership and decision-making skills.

Operations Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete all production assemblies of wheels and casters.
Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, basic labeling).
Stage finished product for loading.
Assist office members to completing inventory.
Load finished products/materials onto trucks for outbound shipping.
Unload delivered products/materials from inbound shipping trucks.
Responsible for quality control. No damaged products/materials are sent out. No damaged products/materials are accepted in.
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and MIOSHA safety policies.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, power tools, and heavy machinery etc.
Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
Clean and maintain work area.
Turn off and lockout equipment when not in use.
Maintain all grounds. Mowing, shoveling, trash pickup etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain the building and report any defects or repairs.
Weekly office cleaning and report needed materials.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
Forklift certification and applicable certification for all other heavy equipment as needed (training and certification will be provided if necessary)
Manual dexterity required to operate machinery.
Ability to lift 75 pounds.
Ability to physically pick up products/materials for long periods of time.
Ability to climb ladders and navigate steep stairs.
Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 75 pounds. Machinery operation required the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel toes work boots, gloves and hardhats. Lose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
Hours:
Flexible scheduling of shifts within hours of operation: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday.
