Must be mechanically inclined. Check Service Tech vehicles for empty Nitrogen / Co2 tanks
Go through UPS / Fed EX etc. that comes in, write job name / number / date on part bag or box. Put on shelf or in kit. If there were returns give RMA tracking info to dispatcher
Check Co2 / Nitrogen tanks to see if they need a refill then bring to be refilled
Empty shop trash, clean bathroom
Clean shop – straighten up tables, hang up cords, tie downs, clean floors and make sure kits are in place
Check and empty all trash (offices, etc)
Plug in lift, check and fill water in batteries and hydraulic fluid
Look in shop and tag any equipment that was brought in with customer name and date ticket
Wash on call vehicle. Check fluid levels and top off. Record the info into the fleet book
Keep up kit inventories and shelf inventory
Mow lawn on rider and use tractor for snow throwing when needed
Some heavy lifting here and there
MISC
Pick up parts and or deliver to techs on jobs as needed. Pick up PM materials and stage for PM jobs. Help do PMs / eventually do PMs on own. Take care of fleet vehicles and repair what issues you can. Pick up parts for vehicles or shop as needed. Check equipment in and out for the guys. Order things as needed or asked. Keep shop tools tidy and organized. Run errands as requested. Repair equipment that comes into shop to your ability (direction will be provided as needed, ultimate goal is to learn how to fix on your own basic repairs). Basically, do what is needed.
