Qualified candidates will possess the skills, knowledge, and agility to care for a 22 yr old adult male with a traumatic brain injury and severe autism. The qualified individual will be willing to be physically active and will also be kind, respectful, patient and understanding with client, co-workers, and family members in home. While this position can be one of the most rewarding this position can also be incredibly challenging. Experience with behaviors associated with traumatic brain injuries and severe autism is a must. CPI (crisis prevention intervention) training or similar training is preferred but willing to train qualified candidates. In addition to the full care required for the client which includes all aspects of his personal hygiene caregivers will also be expected to preform household duties such as laundry, meal prep, dishes, vacuuming, and any other task ask from your manager or household member. Lastly, qualified candidates will be flexible with picking up shifts and have the ability to cover overnights one night a week as needed. We are looking to hire full or part time caregivers. Client is currently in school with shifts running 1:30p-11p and 11p-9:30a. Non-school days and weekend shifts are 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a.We are looking forward to hearing from you
