Job SummaryThe Sr. Strategy & Solutions Specialist collaborates with stakeholders, across the organization and externally to support with informed decision making, analysis, thought partnership, and materials to achieve gains in productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, and impact. S/he leads complex and cross functional initiatives, including development and coordination of projects from assessment and analysis to planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Sr. Strategy & Solutions Specialist supports duties necessary to ensure that the strategy for Employer Solutions is managed and executed in an efficient, productive, and sustainable manner and that key deadlines are met.The Sr. Strategy & Solutions Specialist monitors emerging industry and market trends for Employer Solutions, and works with colleagues across the organization (e.g., Corporate Strategy, Market Development, Government Markets) to provide timely and relevant information to support the business. Leveraging strong communication skills to help interpret complex concepts into presentations and reports to support executive leadership and board level materials.Key success factors for this role include exceptional communication skills, effective collaboration, and experience developing and motivating high performing teams.Essential Functions

Responsible for gathering and synthesis of complex information to develop analysis and documentation for special projects, board level presentations, executive-level communications, market intelligence needs, etc.

Develop subject matter expertise from a business, structural, financial, regulatory and operational perspective

Collaborates on complex and cross-functional strategy initiatives. Develops and coordinates the assessment, analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of complex/multi-faceted projects/ programs. Adjusts scope of work plan in order to achieve desired outcomes.

Inform the broader organization of emerging market trends, including: possible target markets; shifting customer needs; competitor news; and innovative solutions through:

Development and delivery of reports that provide market insights and actionable recommendations

Daily news scans and publication of competitor intelligence newsletter and key market developments

Periodic deep-dives and market assessments to inform positioning and support corporate planning

Market sizing and dissemination to key stakeholders

Serve the organization by flexing between strategy and execution in a highly organized, adaptable, and influential manner.

Works with internal/external team(s) to define necessary information and create information solutions based on business, clinical, or project requirements needed to drive improvement in support of business strategies.

Performs standard data analysis such as trend analysis and correlation to effectively interpret data, and reviews multiple data sets looking at correlating factors and relationships between data. Translation of business requests into broad, or long-term information that guides business decisions for future growth

QualificationsRequired

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, liberal arts, computer science, application programming, software development, information systems, database administration, mathematics, engineering, or other related field
