Sr. Environmental Project Manager

AECOM is actively seeking a talented Senior Environmental Project Manager for immediate employment in our Grand Rapids, Michigan office. Imagine making a positive impact in your community while working on rewarding projects such as: environmental investigation and remediation of multiple contaminant types, site development and permitting, and evaluations to determine potential risk of exposure to human and environmental receptors all while incorporating sustainable, innovative and cost saving solutions for our clients.Qualifications and responsibilities for this position may include the following:Utilize site investigation and remediation techniques to drive solutions for our clients.Responsible for the overall management of projects and establishing project-specific objectivesProvide management and guidance to AECOM staff, subcontractors, and vendorsEngage existing and potential clients regarding AECOM service capabilities, and services to secure new business revenue that meets or exceeds issued goalsProvide mentorship to staffOversee and deliver projects in accordance with specifications, budget, and scheduleMay oversee and direct Project Managers over a portfolio of projectsDetermine and define project scope and objectivesExperience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.Supervise the management of all phases of projectsPredict resource needs and manage resources effectivelyEffectively manage teams and schedule staff and resources to ensure on time and on budget project deliveryProvide technical oversight and quality control of documents including deliverables and proposalsProvide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progressExperience with regulator and stakeholder negotiationsIdentify, mitigate, and manage project risksManage complex clients and projectsConsistently deliver planned project profit margins
