Employment Type:Part timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Follows established procedures and guidelines while performing a wide variety of interventional procedures. Assists radiologist, cardiologists, and nurses in providing quality patient care during interventional procedures. Responsible for the production of high-quality diagnostic radiographs and / or imaging and intraprocedure scrub.Minimum: Completion of an approved American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) program.Minimum: Registered Technologist or registry-eligible with registry completed within one year of hire. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.Minimum: Two years experience as a Radiologic Technologist, working in a hospital Radiology Department. Exposure to invasive procedures.Direct patient care with frequent exposure to radiation, infectious disease, sharp instruments and hazardous liquids and possible exposure to electrical shock.
