Description Robert Half is looking for a Help Desk Analyst to support local and field users in a growing company. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be a creative problem solver who enjoys working in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment. Located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the Help Desk Analyst opportunity is a long-term contract / temporary to hire role.Your responsibilities in this role
Offer IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally
Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
Troubleshoot recurring technical issues and suggest solutions to address the root of the problems
Assist and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups Requirements - Good understanding of IT support ticketing systems
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong familiarity with Hardware Installation
Well-founded grasp of Software Installation
Software Configuration experience highly desired
Foundational knowledge in Hardware Troubleshooting
Earlier work involving Windows Enviornment
Practical knowledge of Ticketing System
Quality experience with Microsoft Windows
Wide ranging experience with Windows Desktop
Comprehensive knowledge of Basic Network Troubleshooting
Basic Troubleshooting experience required
General familiarity with Active Directory
Proven knowledge of Software Deployment
Experience in user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment
Understanding of basic networking concepts
