Position Summary:Oversee all aspects of the MHC 340B program including compliance, program expansion, and financial reporting. Provide operational accountability, management, and process development of the 340B program to ensure optimal operational performance in compliance with legal, regulatory, and financial standards. Perform ongoing analysis and audits of the program and data validation. Manage drug manufacturing accounts and ensure proper inventory flow related to the program. Manage staff related to the program and coordinate operational efforts from supporting departments.Essential Functions and Responsibilities As Assigned:

Ensures policies and procedures are implemented according to MHC, regional, national, state and federal guidelines and approved by MHC Legal.

Evaluate covered entity reconciliation at the contract pharmacy, covered entity, and wholesaler levels.

Participate in projects, councils, and special initiatives related to 340B, compliance, auditing functions, vendor selection, and medication management.

Conduct 340B Program training for staff and continue to modify training materials on an as-needed basis depending on changes to the program at the federal, state, and/or local levels.

Provide training and technical assistance to health system sites and contract pharmacies.

Develop and maintain internal relationships (accounting, legal, national) and external relationships (wholesalers, manufacturers, contract pharmacies, splitter software vendor, Employee Benefit Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) vender) as needed.

Required:

Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

Board of Pharmacy Registered with current MI License

Master of Health Administration, Master of Business Administration; Pharmacy Administration, or other advanced degree in pharmacy or healthcare leadership

3 years hospital pharmacy operations experience

2 years of 340B program experience

1-year experience with pharmacy billing and EMRs

1-year experience with pharmacy systems and in-depth knowledge of analytics requirements

Preferred:

American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) approved Pharmacy residency

Apexus Certified Expert (ACE) certification
