Join our team!Position Overview The Warehouse Manager's responsibilities include supervision of the receipt, dispatching, and storage of goods. Warehouse Managers coordinate project materials, vehicles, and other equipment, and oversee security, sanitation, and administrative functions. This position is located inGould City, MI . Duties & Responsibilities
Manages warehouse operations including the loading of materials, assembling orders, general cleaning, organization, stocking, and repairs
Requisition tools, materials, parts, and supplies in accordance with company guidelines and procedures
Receives, documents, verifies, and records quantities and quality of requisitioned items, tools, materials, parts, and supplies
Provides regular reporting to management
Ensures proper maintenance of warehouse, office building, and structures
Provide after-hours support for critical timelines
Work with the Construction Manager to achieve goals and construction efforts, ensuring that teams have all the necessary supplies
All other duties as required or assigned
Requirements
Valid driver's license
Telecom/utility experience strongly preferred
Work is performed both indoors and outside; Mobility is required within an office, warehouse, and construction site environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to operate equipment including a forklift, skid steer, backhoe, etc.
Good computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel
All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
Applicants must submit to a Driver’s License review, drug test & criminal background check
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform the essential job functions of the position – withstand extreme weather conditions, extensive walking or time spent standing, ability to bend, twist, push, pull, lift 50 lbs.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
May experience long hours of standing and moving
