Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician with experience in plastic injection molding maintenance to join our team

This role involves working with the engineering and maintenance departments to repair, develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods

The candidate will troubleshoot and perform repairs on hydraulic and electric machines, robots, and secondary equipment

Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently are essential for this position

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain all plant equipment, buildings, and grounds

Observe mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble

Dismantle devices to remove defective parts

Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments

Understand and adjust robot programming as needed

Troubleshoot press and robot issues with Process Technicians

Maintain records in compliance with quality procedures and document activities

Complete preventive maintenance and update PM logbooks

Follow safety standards and procedures according to OSHA and ANSI regulations

Complete repairs on hydraulic systems, HVAC, conveyors, and pneumatic circuits

Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform wiring/re-wiring

Develop and manufacture poke-yoke/alarm systems

Troubleshoot and repair machinery and control systems

Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment, including Sensors, Servo controls, Power supplies, VFDs, I/O cards, Relays, HMIs, load cells, etc.

Read and understand PLC ladder logic for troubleshooting and minor program changes

Identify and resolve maintenance concerns and issues

Assist with new product launches

Essential Skills

5-7+ years of Plastic Injection Maintenance Experience

Troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic systems

Troubleshooting electrical systems, including sensors, limit switches, sequences machines, and 24V - 480V

Preventative Maintenance

Experience diagnosing and solving machinery problems
