Description Our client is currently seeking individuals to join their team for a short-term accounting project, and Robert Half is assisting in the recruitment process. If you have a basic understanding of debits and credits, experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), along with proficiency in accounting software or ERP systems, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:As an accounting assistant, you will be responsible for:
Reviewing supplier statements of accounts
Assisting in tracking down necessary paperwork and approvals
Matching material and general receipts
Coordinating documentation for check runs
Printing invoices and packing slips
Filing as needed
Completing various assignments as requested by the Accounting Manager
Requirements:Knowledge and Skills:
Microsoft Office experience, including Outlook, Word, with intermediate skills in Excel
Previous experience in Accounts Payable and General Ledger
Good verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 20 pounds
Ability to work in an office environment
