AECOM is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer for our Flint, MI office. The qualified applicant will have experience in water/wastewater engineering and construction management principles, and will be familiar with the design, construction, and operation of municipal water and/or wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Performs major portions of assigned water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure related projectsGathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined proceduresWorks on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving design calculations, preparation of technical memorandum, preparation of contract documents such as specifications and drawingsProposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignmentsProvides guidance to graduate level engineersPerforms work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervisionIndependently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering worksCo-ordinates with other disciplines, sub-consultants, contractors and regulatory reviews
