Billing Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire part-time employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in FARMINGTON HILLS, Michigan. As a Billing Clerk, you will be part of our team, primarily responsible for managing all aspects of billing functions in our organization. The role involves working closely with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient billing processes. The role is for 3 days a week on-site. Responsibilities: Use law firm's legal billing software Process customer billing accurately and promptly, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and verified. Apply skills in accounting functions to ensure accurate financial record keeping. Handle billing inquiries, resolving any issues or discrepancies in a professional and timely manner. Work with the team to administer claim processes and follow through to completion. Utilize excellent customer service skills to communicate with customers and resolve any billing-related issues. Use your tech-savvy skills to adapt to different billing software such as Tabs/Practice Manager/Tie Metrics, and legal tracker. Assist in collection processes when necessary, ensuring the organization's financial stability.
