Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in FARMINGTON HILLS, Michigan, United States. This role is within the industry, where you will be responsible for managing and processing customer applications, maintaining precise customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.Responsibilities Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications Keep customer credit records up to date and accurate Handle all accounts payable related activities using SAP Timely and accurate processing of a high volume of invoices using SAP Review and prepare reconciliations of AP-related reports from SAP on a monthly basis Keep supplier records updated with all relevant information in SAP Resolve any discrepancies in payment proposals in SAP and execute payment runs Collaborate with procurement, receiving, and other relevant departments for smooth integration of AP processes within SAP Assist in the testing and implementation of new SAP updates related to AP and train other employees on these updates Manage internal and external audit requests related to AP Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is required Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems is essential Experience with ADP - Financial Services is beneficial Knowledge of Concur software is necessary Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial Understanding of Accounting Functions is required Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is key Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is important Auditing experience is highly beneficial Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes is essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
