The post-doc Research Associate will be responsible for designing and performing experiments, analyzing data, participating in manuscript and grant preparation, overseeing and training other lab personnel. Candidates with demonstrated experience in molecular biology and protein biochemistry are particularly encouraged to apply. The position will be initially for an appointment of one-year, renewable annually contingent upon satisfactory performance.Duties of the incumbent will include gene cloning and heterologous protein expression, protein purifications,in vitroassays, phosphoproteomic analyses, manuscript writing, and training of other lab personnel.Michigan State University is one of the premier global plant science research institutes featuring over 150 plant-science faculty carrying out cutting-edge research.
