About this Position:This position assists in maintaining the construction & facility operations of state laboratory and consumer protection bureau facilities, and associated equipment. The employee works within departmental guidelines, facilities management manuals, regulations, policies, and procedures. This includes planning to ensure facilities have appropriate safety, security, and maintenance plans, as well as management and oversight of new and ongoing capital improvement construction projects, and the development of a 5-year capital outlay construction plan for laboratory facilities. Development of this plan is to include infrastructure replacement, and preventative maintenance schedules and anticipated costs associated with the plan.
