Michigan, Detroit metro, 48201 Detroit metro USA
Aplica ya

Location: Southeast Michigan (Remote or Local Hybrid)

Compensation: Commission-Based + Small Base Stipend

About Us:

We’re a newly launched custom software development shop based in Southeast Michigan, focused on helping small and mid-sized businesses build tailored digital tools — from internal platforms and automation to customer-facing apps and portals.

We’re looking for a motivated part-time or entry-level business development rep, ideally a student, intern, or recent graduate located in Southeast Michigan, to help us grow. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the tech and startup world to gain hands-on sales and consulting experience while working closely with the founder.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Researching and identifying small/medium businesses in Southeast Michigan that could benefit from custom software.

Reaching out via email, phone, and social channels to set up intro meetings.

Learning how to ask the right questions and understand client needs.

Working with the founder to define projects and proposals based on business goals.

Contributing lightly to early-stage marketing ideas (e.g. messaging, case studies, testimonials).

Who We’re Looking For:

A student, recent college graduate, or part-time job seeker based in Southeast Michigan.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills — confident speaking with business owners.

Curious, self-motivated, and excited to learn about software, business consulting, and tech sales.

No formal sales experience required — just initiative, follow-through, and people skills.

Compensation & Perks:

Commission on closed deals (generous structure).

Small base stipend or hourly support during ramp-up.

Direct mentorship from the founder with exposure to real software projects.

Flexible, remote-friendly work schedule — some in-person meetings optional if you're local.

Long-term growth potential if it’s a great fit.
