Summary of the Position: The Concrete Coordinator is responsible for managing and scheduling all concrete-related activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials, coordinating with trades and crews, and maintaining a high level of service for internal teams and customers.

Role and Responsibilities
Schedule concrete pours and coordinate delivery with suppliers and finishers
Track concrete job progress using CRM and project management software
Prepare and process necessary permits and pre-construction documents
Coordinate jobsite inspections related to concrete projects
Communicate daily with crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure job timelines are met
Maintain updated job status reports and relay progress to managers and clients
Handle customer inquiries and communicate key information regarding concrete project scope, timing, and expectations
Assist with post-project documentation including completion certifications, labor invoices, and cleanup scheduling
Schedule dumpsters and removal services as needed post-pour
Organize project files: permits, inspection results, mix designs, photos
Cross-train in production and admin areas to support broader team functions
Perform general office duties: scanning, filing, data entry
Qualification and Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in customer service or coordination roles (construction preferred)
Prior experience with scheduling or managing concrete projects is highly desirable
Strong communication skills, phone and email etiquette
Familiarity with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and/or Google Workspace
Basic knowledge of construction, concrete terminology, and processes

Physical Demands
This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary. The employee must occasionally lift office products and supplies weighing up to 20 lbs. Manual dexterity and regular fine finger and hand/wrist motions are required for operating a keyboard, writing, and filing.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Work days are Monday through Friday.
Overtime when required.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma
Possession of valid Michigan driver’s license
Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel, working knowledge of Google Docs & Sheets
