Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative with a background in construction who is ready to build relationships with prospective clients, manage leads, and close sales on residential construction projects. This position is commission-based, meaning your earnings are tied directly to the successful completion of projects you sell. If you have a strong understanding of construction and enjoy working with clients to bring their vision to life, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with prospective clients who have already shown interest in our services (no cold calling required).
Understand client needs, assess project requirements, and offer tailored solutions based on their budget and preferences.
Provide accurate and detailed estimates, along with project timelines, to help clients make informed decisions.
Manage and oversee the sales process from initial consultation through contract signing.
Work closely with the project management and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution after the sale.
Maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and encouraging repeat business and referrals.
Meet or exceed sales targets by selling construction projects from start to finish.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product offerings to provide the most current solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
Previous sales experience in the construction or residential building industry is preferred.
Strong understanding of construction terminology, processes, and project scopes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused attitude.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, project proposals, and technical specifications.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
