Energy Design Engineers is seeking a technical-minded salesperson to help us grow our business in the Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb County markets. Do you have a strong sales and or engineering resume? We want to talk to you.
We sell technology and services that reduce energy waste. We use the following technologies to help our clients reduce operating costs, energy waste, and downtime:
1. Wireless energy monitoring to find hidden energy waste in all areas of our client's operations.
2. Advanced AI software to reduce compressor room energy waste by 20 - 30%.
3. Ultrasonic leak detection and monitoring equipment to find compressed air leaks.
4. Network lighting controls will help provide an additional 30% energy savings in existing LED fixtures and environments.
5. Highly effective (200-lumens per watt) LED fixtures that have a rated life of 200,000 hours
6. Facility Energy Audits to help our clients find and develop an actionable plan to reduce energy waste and improve their carbon footprint.

- Flexible Schedule: This could be a part-time job for the right person, 20 per week (Fridays off). We are seeking a full-time person, which means 45 - 50 hours per week.

- We also have 1.9 - 3% financing available through the State of Michigan for our projects. It makes it easier to close sales when the end-user has attractive rates and they don't have to use any of their capital.
Compensation: Commensurate with your experience, interview, and resume. We provide a salary, commission, bonuses and expenses for a full-time position.
Brief Job Description:
- Hunt and gather new business. You are responsible for your leads and for developing new business.
- Survey work sites to gather data for our engineering team to run energy calculations and find the best utility rebates and financing.
- Educate the prospects on what we do and how our services and products will help them.
- Present our solutions to the end users after training.
- This job requires you to build your own sales pipeline until you start selling, and then we will provide leads.
