Modern Skate & Surf is Michigan's original Skate Shop (since 1979).
We operate the third largest indoor skatepark in North America, as well as a retail store and a small events center just north of Detroit, Michigan. We are looking for someone to join our team as a Sales Associate with opportunity to advance.
We are looking for some motivated individuals to join our team!
Responsibilities include:
Day to Day operations in both the shop and skate park
Visual Merchandising
Customer Service
Communication with the leadership team
More responsibilities will be discussed during the interview process
Requirements and Qualifications:
Retail experience preferred (action sports/skate preferred)
Strong sales skills
Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
Customer service experience
Flexible and adaptable schedule - must be able to work weekends and nights.
Coachable
