This skilled employee will be expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of and experience with full-process assembly construction of Tools/Dies.
The following duties are typical for this position and these examples may not cover all the duties to be performed
Assemble, disassemble, repair and dry-run new-build and existing tooling
Operate manual milling, drilling and grinding machinery to finish or repair details
Read prints/design, layout material and manufacture to instruction
Make use of self-owned hand tools for necessary work tasks
Set material punches and time dies to perform as designed
Stone and polish material for quality finish
Perform tasks efficiently and communicate any non-conformances
Continually learn from tradesmen through performing assigned duties
Perform general labor relative to the construction of tooling
Operate overhead cranes & Hi-Lo’s (with licenses)
Maintain clean work area and positive work ethic
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years (Required) of relevant work experience
Strong understanding of basic metal die function/operation
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Willingness/flexibility to work overtime as needed
Willingness to coach others towards objectives/goals
Ability to work in fast paced work environment
Must follow company safety regulations and rules of employment
Required Qualifications:
Experience operating presses, including Tryout of new and old tooling
Employment Type: Hourly, Full-time Monday- Friday 5am to 430pm, Saturdays as needed 5am to 11am
Compensation: Based upon experience.
