Synergy Legal Staffing is hiring attorneys, non-licensed JD's, MBA's, translators, and college grads/paralegals with compliance, AML, and/or KYC experience and fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish for a 1 year+ due diligence project that focuses on research and writing starting Monday, April 9th, at our clients facility in downtown Detroit.
The project involves researching key companies and employees and writing reports suggesting whether business opportunities are worth pursuing. The base (English) rate will be $25/hr + $6/daily parking stipend and when Portuguese/Spanish matters arise the rate will be $55/hr + $6/daily parking stipend. The first 4-8 weeks of the project involves training where the English rate will apply and thereafter the dual rates of English and Spanish/Portuguese will apply, depending on the language of the particular research assignment.
To be eligible you must be fluent in Portuguese and/or Spanish and have noted research and writing experience. MBA's and college grads/paralegals should also have compliance, AML, and/or KYC experience. The project is 40 hours per week and remote work is not available.
Non-native candidate will be required to pass a Portuguese and/or Spanish ALTA exam.
