Independent Contractors: Part-Time Portable Restroom Cleaners - Royal Oak & Detroit ($7/clean $21.00 per hour on Average)
Penelope's House Cleaning is looking for Independent Contractors to work as Part-Time Portable Restroom Cleaners in Royal Oak and Detroit! We need reliable, detail-oriented individuals to clean public access restroom units.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not an employee role.
What You'll Do:
Clean/sanitize toilets, sinks, urinals.
Restock supplies (toilet paper, hand towels, soap).
Perform quick (5-10 min), efficient cleans.
Take time-stamped pictures of the unit after each cleaning.
Drive between multiple locations in Royal Oak and potentially Detroit to service units.
Work independently.
Locations & Cleaning Frequency:
Royal Oak: Multiple units requiring 2-8 cleans/day.
Detroit (Cadillac Square): Two side-by-side units, each requiring 6 cleans per day.
Schedule:
Work 3 to 4 days per week.
Units are open 7 days a week from 7 AM - 10 PM; you will schedule your cleans within these hours.
Flexible hours, great for supplementing income.
Compensation:
$7.00 per clean.
Opportunity to earn up to $21 per hour if you perform 3 cleanings per hour!
Mandatory Requirements:
Must have your own reliable transportation.
Must have a mobile phone capable of taking time-stamped pictures.
Must be able to pass a background check (NO felonies or criminal history).
Willing to sign a non-compete agreement and an independent contractor agreement.
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Legal to work in the U.S.
