Key Responsibilities
Assist in installing irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip lines, valves, and piping.
Support technicians with routine maintenance tasks like winterization, spring startups, and system checks.
Help diagnose and repair basic system issues under supervision, such as leaks or clogged emitters.
Operate basic tools and equipment (e.g., shovels, pipe cutters, trenchers) safely and efficiently.
Learn to test system components like pressure and flow rates with direction from senior staff.
Keep accurate records of tasks completed and materials used.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work site.
Qualifications
No experience required but experience is a plus
Must enjoy working outside
Great customer service
Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable
Strong time management and organizational skills
This is a field-based position requiring work in all weather conditions, primarily in the Northville/Novi area. You’ll work closely with seasoned technicians, gaining hands-on experience while assisting on projects for homeowners, businesses, and property managers. Expect a mix of teamwork and supervised tasks, with occasional evening or weekend work during busy seasons
