Established Custom Deck builder in Oakland County looking to add crew members to existing deck building crews. We are not only looking for labor and muscle, but individuals looking to learn a trade and eventually become their own crew leader with significant income potential. Duties include everything needed to build a deck from the ground up, including carrying, cutting, and lifting lumber, and occasional hole digging. Familiarity with woodworking and basic hand/power tools a plus. Must be able to lift 80+ pounds on a regular basis. We will provide training on the job and a tool pouch with some basic hand tools. Participating 401(k) program available after 6 months.
Must have reliable transportation and ability to show up on time. Typically crews will meet on the jobsite. We work mostly in Oakland County, but also Western Wayne, Livingston, and Eastern Macomb.
